Wellhead Protection Questionnaire
The following questions relate to issues associated with groundwater contamination, and the protection of Public Water System (PWS) drinking water supply wells and aquifers form contamination. The purpose of this survey is to help the Wyoming Department of Environmental Quality to better define the public’s need and /or desire for wellhead protection, as well as preference for alternative methods to be considered if a Wellhead Protection Program is developed in Wyoming. Questions were prepared by staff from the Department of Environmental Quality’s Water Quality Division with assistance from the Wyoming Water Research Center, University of Wyoming, and the EPA.
