General Instructions

1. Boolean operations (AND, OR, etc) are not supported and their appearance in any search string will result in a search for the literal string inputted, which most likely will not be present in the database and will return empty results.
2. Use general terms when entering search words. More is not better in this case. An example for a Geographic Area search would be, enter north platte instead of north platte river drainage basin. For a Descriptive Keyword search, enter irrigation instead of irrigation projects. You can always refine your search based upon the list of terms that will be returned.
