Privacy Policy
At WRDS, the privacy of our visitors is of extreme importance to us. This privacy policy document outlines the types of personal information that is received and collected by WRDS and how it is used.
Log Files
Like many other Web sites, WRDS makes use of log files. The information inside the log files may include internet protocol (IP) addresses, type of browser, date/time stamp, referring/exit pages, and number of clicks to analyze trends, administer the site, track user's movement around the site, and gather demographic information. IP addresses, and other such information are not linked to any information that is personally identifiable. With the exception of forms (see below) we do not collect information such as names, addresses, email addresses, or telephone numbers via the website.
Email Addresses
Certain forms on the site require the user to input an email address so that we may respond to the question posed. We will not sell, rent, or otherwise make available email addresses to any party not involved in the question being asked unless required to do for law enforcement purposes. Email addresses submitted on these forms are used only for sending a response.
Cookies and Web Beacons
WRDS does use cookies to store information about visitors preferences, record user-specific information on which pages the user access or visit, customize Web page content based on visitors browser type or other information that the visitor sends via their browser.
